Balmy days, cool ocean breezes, lush tropical vegetation... are just part of what makes Crandon Golf Key Biscayne so special...

The golf course is part of internationally known Crandon Park, on the island paradise of Key Biscayne, just ten minutes from downtown Miami. The views of Miami's famous skyline across the water are spectacular.

Designed by Robert Von Hagge and Bruce Devlin in 1972, with the greens redesigned by Von Hagge in 1993 and resurfaced in 2002, Crandon Golf is one of the most beautiful and exciting par-72 courses in Florida. Golf legends Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Chi Chi Rodriquez, Lee Trevino and Tom Kite have all been challenged by the courses' intriguing design.

From the first hole – a dogleg par-5 that requires a daring drive over water and mangroves – to the eighteenth – another par-5 with Biscayne Bay on one side of the fairway and a saltwater lake on the other, the course is filled with peril. You'll need every bit of skill you can muster to handle the fourth hole - at 638 yards, one of the longest par-5s in Florida - or the seventh hole, one of the greatest holes in golf, a par-4 that doglegs to the right over water.

Perhaps the best thing about playing Crandon Golf Course is that you truly get away from "civilization". There's no development, just you and the soft grass, twisted mangroves and Sea Grape trees, rustling palm fronds, egrets and ibis, colorful iguanas and Biscayne Bay.
