The members of the KBMGA represent a wide range of handicaps, ages and nationalities. We are truly a dynamic association, which embodies the true flavor of South Florida.
With stunning vistas of Coconut Grove across sparkling Biscayne Bay, our golf course is, indeed, our gemstone. Rated one of the top five public courses in Florida and top 75 in the country by Golf Digest, we are extremely fortunate to call the Crandon Park Golf Course on Key Biscayne home.
We play one tournament a month on Saturday mornings - usually the third Saturday of the month, with a few variations on the date. Check-in and complimentary breakfast for each tournament begin at 7:00 a.m. in the Links Grill Restaurant and a free range token is available. The shotgun start begins at 8:30 a.m. Lunch is included and will be served in the Links Grill immediately following the round.
Registration for each tournament must be received by noon of the Wednesday prior to the scheduled match. Entries submitted after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which they were received. If you must withdraw from a tournament, please advise the Tournament Director 24 hours in advance. No-shows will be charged the full entry fee.
New members will be issued a USGA handicap card after five rounds are submitted and receive a new handicap from the GHIN computer every two weeks. Members must post their own scores into the KBMGA GHIN Computer in the pro shop, being sure to enter their score/course rating/slope from the particular tees played and adjusted to ESC. Guests are welcome to participate in tournaments but may not win any prizes. Only those members with a current KBMGA handicap will be eligible for tournament prizes.
Members must play in a minimum of three KBMGA tournaments during the year to become eligible to compete in the club championship matches beginning in September.
A 10% discount is offered off all food and beverage orders in the Links Grill by showing your KBMGA Handicap Card at time of payment.
