The Sterling Cup is a year-long competition for the amateur members of the Key Biscayne Men’s Golf Association. The winner of the Sterling Cup is the amateur member that has the lowest 18-hole total. The scores for each hole are determined by taking the lowest score that the member enters and submits on each hole from all of the tournament rounds and all club championship matches played on dates that KBMGA has tee times.

There is a Gross division and a Net division and the winner of each division has his 2011 KBMGA dues paid for by the sponsors – Law Office of Philip Josephson and Sterling Business Strategy.
