April 2007 Tournament Results:

Gentlemen,

As always, a tip of our hat to our loyal sponsors for their continued generosity.

The format this month was Tournament Nassau (90% handicaps) with awards going to the players with the lowest front-nine score, the lowest back-nine score and the lowest 18 hole score.

Our Low Gross winner was Robert Huxman with an even-par 72 on the day.  Congratulations, Roger.

Low Net:

First Place Front-nine winner was Dr Carlos Wiegering, who had a very impressive score of 32 on the front nine holes.

First Place Back-nine winner was Randy Potter, who had a score of 35 for his back nine holes.

First Place 18 hole score went to Neil Christiansen who carded a 68 for the day.

Closest-to-the-pin honors this month went to:

Hole #6:  Alan Neufeld who nestled it a mere 4’ 1” from the hole and tapped in his birdie.

Hole #12:  Eric Cabrera who put it 8’ 6” from the pin and made his birdie, as well.

Long Drive Hole #14:  Phil (Bomber) Allen who, since we don’t measure these things, we’ll say put it up near the green with his monstrous tee ball.

Congratulations to all for some fine play.

That’s it for now and I look forward to seeing you all next month.

Sincerely,

Bill Hayes
El Presidente du jour
